Quiet Promptings

Isn't it the nicest of all feelings to have what seems to be a good idea, and then to realize later that perhaps it wasn't your idea after all???

  1. What a great dinner! Carson had about 3 bowls of the soup, and we all devoured the bread (yeah...none left at the end of the meal). My kids were in heaven with the appearance of 'yummy jam' ... though ... I have to guiltily admit that after dinner, I whispered to Brian that we were not going to waste the rest of the jam on the little taste buds. No, instead, we're hiding the rest in the back of the fridge to only pull out on special occasions, when the kids aren't looking, so it will last us until strawberry season comes yet again (or, at least until next week!) :) Thanks, again!

  3. The story is that Lindsay had mentioned the other day that she's had the flu, so I thought I would like to take them dinner. Just because I had the time and wanted to do something nice. But when I talked to her she said that because she had been sick and now someone else was sick she hadn't been able to grocery shop so they were going to have cereal for dinner. At which point I began to suspect that my great idea was, perhaps, still great--but not mine. And I hope so. I'd like to think that the spirit is using me more than I know...
