2nd Harvest

I am so excited.  Before I went out to education week I decided that I wanted to try growing another crop of beans.  I wasn’t really sure if it would work, but I wanted to try.  Well…guess what I had for dinner tonight!

These are fancy foreign beans—either french or italian, I can’t remember which.  They are very interesting to look at—super long, quite wide, and totally flat.  Some of them are almost as big as tongue depressors.  But I must say after having 3 different kinds of beans for dinner tonight that my palate just must not be that refined—they all tasted like bean to me!

  1. That's so exciting! :) (I'm so easily entertained!)....I planted more green peppers and they're doing great...better than my first crop. I had 3 normal sized peppers this week. Awesome!!

  2. Those sound like the Italian beans Bryan accidently bought one time from the grocery store. They tasted fine, but they were sure different looking. =) Glad your experiment turned out so well for you.
