Food Storage Experiment #1
For dinner the other night I made bread sticks. I decided it was the perfect opportunity to experiment with some of my new food storage. Because I was busy & didn't want to get out the wheat grinder, I decided to use the multi-grain rolled cereal. I put 1/4 cup of it in the blender and blended until it was mostly fine. Then I added the ground cereal to the flour I was using for the bread sticks. I also drizzled olive oil on the dough & sprinkled it with oregano.
I love the taste and texture of multi-grain bread, and I think that's what I was looking for. The texture turned out great, but I would have still liked more flavor. Next time I think I'll add more of the finely blended flour to see if it affects the flavor more.
